Sociolinguistics Meets Psycholinguistics: Research Perspectives
Dear Colleagues,
The International Sociolinguistic Society “Acad. Mihail Videnov” is pleased to announce the Sixteenth International Conference on Sociolinguistics, to be held on September 24–25, 2026, at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
It is an honor for the organizers to invite you to this well-established academic forum, whose central theme this year is dedicated to the intersections between sociolinguistics and psycholinguistics.
The deadline for submission of participation proposals is June 20, 2026, through the electronic form on the website: https://sociolinguistics.org/conferences/conferences-form/. In case of difficulties – at the Society’s email address: insoliso@gmail.com. (Application form)
Notification of acceptance will be sent by June 30, 2026.
Working languages of the conference: all Slavic languages and English.
Presentations during the conference will be scheduled for 15 minutes each.
Travel, accommodation, and per diem expenses are the responsibility of the participants.
Submitted papers will undergo double-blind peer review and will be published in Volume 16 of Problems of Sociolinguistics.
The deadline for submission of full papers is October 15, 2026.
