CALL FOR PAPERS
“Along the Periphery of Literature: Memory and Uses”
Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to an academic conference “Along the Periphery of Literature: Memory and Uses”. It will be held from 4 to 5 November 2019 in the New conference room and Hall 1 of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.
The main thematic areas are:
- Theoretical and historical aspects of the marginal literature: authors, genres, works, interpretative directions.
- Uses and misuses of literary memory. Literary and critical discourses. Ideological contexts.
- Literature and Culture in the Periphery: national dialogues and global politics.
The languages of the conference are: Bulgarian, English and Russian.

The papers will be published in 2020.
There is no conference fee. Participants attending the conference are expected to cover their travel, food and accommodation expenses.
