This editon and description of Apostle of Manoil is the first attempt to present a fragment of Medieval Slavic manuscript in electronic form.

• Diplomatic edition of the manuscript along with the links to digital images.
• Description of the manuscrtipt.
• The future work will include useful indices and additional information.

The manuscript descriptions are encoded using the guidelines of the Repertorium Initiative, a special revision of Text Encoding Initiative for eletronic description of Slavic manuscripts.

The edition is encoded using the Text Encoding Initiative guidelines. For verses we are using an element ab (anonymous block), for the beginning of pages pb (page break) and for line breaks – lb (line break). Parts of the text which are reconstructed are encoded using the element supplied. Please consult the TEI Guidelines for more information.

This project is part of the activities of the Commission on the Computer-Supported Processing of Medieval Slavonic Manuscripts and Early Printed Books to the International Committee of Slavists.

The texts here are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0), meaning you are free to make use of it, share and adapt it to your need, as long as you give us appropriate credit (mention the project website for instance), provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
