Dear Partner,
I would like to draw your attention to the fact that Hungary has taken over the rotating presidency of the Central European exchange programme for university studies (CEEPUS), and as a result, received an increased CEEPUS fund for incoming students and teaching staff in the academic year 2023/2024, either within a CEEPUS network or as a Freemover mobility.
Students and teachers from CEEPUS countries (Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, the Slovak Republic and Slovenia) are eligible to apply for a mobility scholarship to Hungary.
Available mobility types:
- Full semester student mobility: 3-5 months, 170 000 HUF/month (approx. 440 EUR)
- Short-term student mobility (thesis research for BA, MA, PhD students): 1-2 months, 170 000 HUF/month (approx. 440 EUR)
- Teaching mobility: 1 month – minimum length 5 days, 190 000 HUF/month (approx. 490 EUR)
The prolonged application deadline is 31 December 2023.
Eötvös Loránd University can accept students and teachers within one of its networks or as a Freemover, depending on the capacity of the host faculty/department.
- ELTE is a member of 9 awarded and 5 umbrella CEEPUS networks in 2023/24. Students and staff applying for a network mobility should contact the ELTE network coordinator. No Letter of Acceptance is needed for network mobility applications.
- Freemover applicants need a Letter of Acceptance from the host faculty/department, please find the form attached. Applicants should contact the faculty administration regarding their planned mobility and the signature of the Letter of Acceptance.
